The Department of Veterinary Internal Medicine deals with the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of infectious and non-infectious diseases related to the digestive, respiratory, circulatory, nervous, musculoskeletal, urinary, dermatological, behavioral, and endocrine systems of animals.
Students learn clinical examination methods, symptom analysis, interpretation of laboratory data, and medical treatment applications.
Nutrition disorders, metabolic and immunological diseases, and zoonotic diseases are also included in this field.
Internal medicine training emphasizes a holistic approach to patient evaluation, early diagnosis, and effective treatment planning.
Our faculty hospital includes a well-equipped lab for blood counts, serum biochemistry, and urinalysis.
