A scientific-practical meeting was held at Khazar University for Hasvet Veterinary Medicine students with the participation of AQTA representatives
On 27 November 2025, a scientific-practical meeting was conducted at the Baku campus of Khazar University for students enrolled in the “Veterinary Medicine” program, with the participation of representatives from the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AQTA).
In the opening session, Acting Dean of the Hasvet Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, DVM. Çiçək Aliyeva, emphasized the importance of cooperation with state institutions in the field of veterinary education and highlighted the necessity of integrating theoretical knowledge with practical experience for students.
The event continued with presentations delivered by Galib Abdullaliyev, Head of the Animal Health and Biological Safety Department of AQTA and the Chief State Veterinary Inspector of the Republic; Tural Alizade, Head of the Civil Service and Human Resources Sector of the Legal, Personnel and Compliance Control Department of AQTA; as well as Samir Mehraliyev, Head of the Training Center Department of the Azerbaijan Food Safety Institute (AFSI), and senior specialist Sabina Ismayilova.
Chief State Veterinary Inspector Galib Abdullaliyev provided comprehensive information on veterinary supervision, animal health protection, and the priority directions of state policy in the field of biological safety.
AQTA representative Tural Alizade delivered a detailed presentation on civil service, personnel development, the operational framework of the agency’s structural units, and human resource advancement within the veterinary sector. A video presentation on AQTA’s activities was also showcased during the event.
